My baby girl Cricket went to spirit the other day, I wanted something nice to post up in her memory here on DA and on Facebook. I was going to put the poem I wrote about her back in high school on this image... but I couldn't find it... I decided that words really couldn't describe how I was feeling about her anyways so I just used this quote I found online... If i find the poem I may still post it below the description her.... but anyways she was a 27 going on 28 (would have been 28 in Feburary this year) and for a race horse with past injuries from the track I've been told its almost unheard of for them to get past their early 20's, so she had a good long life and died because her body was giving out on her and I knew it would be better for her than suffering through it. I couldn't have ever dreamed of having a more perfect horse than her.... may she fly free in spirit with the wind in her maneimage made on photoshop digital painting of wings over photographs & some slight photo manipulation.
