A second prompt! This time for the deity alternate universe prompt.TESS-ARACT, God of Fatal Curiosity and The Void
A less followed deity, moreso an example for those that reach too close to the sun and moon. It was said that they were once a Starkin, enamored by the light of the deities and their great prowess. And so he reached, and reached, hoping to be more than he ever could, desperate for his own withheld approval. Spells, magic, curses, rituals, it was all for nought. In the search for enlightenment, the starkin passed on, yet the actions he’d taken cemented his soul in the world of the living, never to become a star within the sky. And so he remained, nonexistent, yet conscious. A “god” by definition, but not in practice. With no blessings for his “followers”, and no words of wisdom to ever be said, the followers nearly as nonexistent as TESS-ARACT himself. It is said the only one is the God’s long lost lover, desperate for any sort of response.
