Description
I've seen many variations on Lucifer. He’s usually portrayed as the grotesque, the disfigured, the monster, and failing that, the sharp dressed seducer who looks more Hollywood actor than shunned antagonist. When I thought about creating this image I wanted to produce something with atmosphere that would really stand out, but also something was based on facts. So, I figured that that Lucifer was an angel, albeit a fallen one. One that had been cast out from the light and sent to a place where darkness is as congealed in the air as it is in the soul. Ultimately though, he would have the same physical appearance as other Angels, only his mind and his environment altering his outside shell.

Started in Poser for the basic figure. Wings, background and shading in PS. Origonally in red, then blue, I eventually decided on this tained yellow/orange rusty colour because had a more 'earthy' look.
