For what feels like ages, Midgard has been frozen in harsh and unending winter. The world tree Yggdrasil went dormant, then began to wither and die. Humans and Rukaan alike have sought answers, looking for the source of the unnatural disturbance in the seasons and hoping to restore the world tree before her health fails beyond saving and causes a permanent imbalance in the world.
Since spring first failed to appear, Rukaan have been seeking answers but none you've spoken to have found anything that seems meaningful and conditions are getting dire. The most fruitful place to proceed is asking questions of the experts. Draw or write a story of your Rukaan seeking answers from an inhabitant of Midgard (any of the lore races) or one of the starter Rukaan who have been touched by the gods.

Kingfisher sets out for answers on Yggdrasil's decline, and finds Kielo S-020 . She doesn't know the reason behind the 'eternal winter', but knows that someone does, and points Kingfisher in the right direction.
