Description
You're stranded on an island, alone, and have run out of your last resources. Your significant other knows where you should be, and that you've been gone for a week longer than expected. You know you have a good chance of being rescued, a radio phone someone had brought on the plane got you in patchy contact with a nearby island. They can be there in two days, and your significant other is surely trying to get a rescue mission set up. However, without food, you can't last two days for rescue. You make three makeshift traps, hoping just one will catch you something, and plan to check them in the morning. When you wake up and check the traps, all three traps have been sprung. You investigate and find three substantially sized prey animals.Inside the first trap is a rabbit. It's a mammal like yourself.
The second snatched a large bird. An avian, smart but they only mimic.
The third catch is a sizable snake. A cold-blooded reptile, and you recognize it as a non-venomous species.
You look closely at the animals inside the traps.
The rabbit shies away from you, it's nose twitching cutely.
The bird pecks at the sticks of it's cage, tilting it's head at you.
The snake hisses, curling up into the famous "S" as it prepares to strike if you come closer.
You only need two meals to survive until rescue, and you want to release one. Each animal is about the same size, and will offer a good amount of meat for you, especially considering you're on the brink of starvation and eating too much too fast may prompt you to throw up the precious meat. You think it over carefully.
Do you:
A) Release the rabbit
B) Release the bird
C) Release the snake
D) Choose to keep them all in the cages and eat one per day
