Transformers G1 Mixmaster

FUNCTION: Materials Fabrication

“How strong the steel, how quick the conquest.”

Mixmaster is so good at his job that he seems more like an alchemist than a master of chemistry and science. When Decepticons request seemingly impossible construction materials, Mixmaster laughs and then giddily goes about producing whatever is needed with maniacal speed. Mixmaster enjoys taking random objects to use for his production process, including still-living Autobots. Hook find Mixmaster’s methods distasteful and unprofessional, but the other Decepticons are happy with his efficiency and enthusiasm. Mixmaster combines with his fellow Constructicons to form the left leg of Devastator.

This is something I been working on for a while, doing all six Constructicon Transformers in SketchUp 3D and ultimately making Devastator with them in all his glory. I used the real life G1 (Generation One) toys to make these as toy accurate as possible, but it's been really difficult getting these guys and their parts to actually line up correctly and fit them all together. As of now I'm still in the process of making each robot and when I'm done I will upload all their 3d models, and of course the finished Devastator to 3d Warehouse for everyone to see and play with. I'm holding back on them because I want to make sure they all fit together and line up in the end, and if I have to go back and change something I won't have to delete a model, make a change, and reupload it again if I screwed something up.
