Moon Lance is a very unusual unicorn. instead of having a lot of magical power like other unicorns with such large horns,he has no magic at all,the most hes ever been able to manage a small gray spark triggered by strong emotions. since he lacks any magic abilities,he trains in horn fighting(sword fighting of the pony world) which he is exceptional at. he prefers to keep to himself,not really having any friends or family, save for his sister Wind Chime. his long hair casts a shadow over his face, of course keeping with his unintentional mysteriousness. if you get to know him,he is prone to sarcasm like his younger sister,and holds others in no high respect. he hates the filth,hypocrisy,and idiocy found throughout the world and has decided that it would be better to avoid others altogether to escaping facing this.

cutie mark story: when he was young,he had passed the age where he should have gotten his cutie mark,but still hadnt gotten it,he was out in the forest with his sister (who had already gotten her cutie mark)who was still very small as well. he always felt more at home in the forest than in town. they were heading home when they were cornered by a small bear. not thinking, he ran toward the bear with head down and horn pointed forward. he launched into a long (and fairly dramatic) fight with the bear,finding himself to be very swift and agile. he soon defeated the bear,earned his mark,and walked home like nothing happened.
