Fusion specific Weapons:
Hematites weapons are made by Combing Azezulites Arm cannon modes with Spessarites Great Sword. Because of the size and power of her weapons, when Hematite transforms her forearms into weapons the weapons must be wielded by her other arms. For this reason Hematite typically transforms her lower arms into her specialized weapons. If the upper arms cannot meet up with the lower arms she cannot make use of her weapons as they are too unwieldy to be used otherwise.

Constricted Partial Blade:
Made by combining Spessarites Great Sword with Black Azezulites Burst Mode Arm Cannon
The particle blade is a wide thick looking elliptical cylinder, Spessarites Great sword is broken apart and forms guide rails on either end which focus and shape the magnetic field generated. This field traps and condenses air particles charging them into an electrical plasma state. As this is ‘cold’ plasma there is no heat generated, and damage from this weapon is more similar to an arc welder then a blow torch. The partial blade is powerful enough to cut through most armor and defenses, and unlike the MA-Arm Cannon this weapon can still be used while Hematite is recharging, however it’s power is significantly reduced while Hematite is recharging.

Magnetic Acceleration Arm Cannon:
Created by combining Spessarites Great Sword with Black Azezulites Beam Mode Arm Cannon.
The MA-Arm Cannon is a long cylindrical weapon that extends back past the elbow joint, this rear most section appears to resemble a sealed ammunition container with a collection of small metal rods visible inside the container. Along the outside edge of the arm cannon are six paired cylinders that jut out of the arm leaned back at forty-five degree angels, the tops of these cylinders have spinning fans that begin to glow when the weapon is about to fire. The forward section of the arm cannon consists of a narrow barrel with flattened blunt spikes protruding from either side of the barrel, when the arm cannon is charging electricity arc’s between these two guide rails.
This weapon fires small metal projectiles at relativistic speeds, as such there are very few things that can survive a direct shot from this arm cannon, however there is a noticeable charge time before a shot is fired meaning it can be easily dodged, for this reason it can not be rapid fired and has a maximum fire rate of one shot per three seconds. Because of the energy required to fire this weapon can only be fired a few times before Hematite exhausts her power reserves and must recharge.

One of the ability’s granted by Black Azezulite is the ability to lower the MA-Arm cannons power, reducing its destructive optional in order to increase the number of shots available. The upper most limits to this is doubling the weapons magazine capacity, however in this state the weapons power is reduced significantly, such that gems specializing in defense are now able to block the shots

Special Ability’s:

Polarity Manipulation:
As a fusion Hematite has inherited Spessarite’s ability’s to control polarities, however the combination with Black Azezulite has amplified and altered these powers into new forms not possessed by Spessarite.

Because of the overwhelming power of Hematite’s magnetic based ability’s she has a limit to the number of times she may use her powers before she needs to recharge her energy reserves which takes several seconds. When recharging herself Hematite is unable to use any of her special ability’s or fire her arm cannon.

Deflection Shield:
Hematite is constantly surrounded by a powerful ‘magnetic’ shield that deflects incoming attacks from gems. Physical attacks tend to miss and give the impression that Hematite moved slightly to avoid the blow or that the attackers aim was slightly off, ranged attacks will noticeably bend and deflect away from Hematite. The amount of energy consumed by the shield is proportional to the attack, meaning the stronger the attack the more power is used. After the energy is depleted Hematite must spend several seconds recharging before her shield returns. While Hematite’s shield affects Gems, and Gem weapons as they are made of light and energy, physical non-magnetic objects such as organic lifeforms, stones, and plant life are unaffected by the shield.

Burst-Dash:
By manipulating her own magnetic field and the surrounding magnetic fields of the earth Hematite is able to move herself short distances at near speeds far beyond the reach of most gems and other fusions. These movements are strictly linear due to their velocity, and she is only able to perform a limited number of dashes before requiring time to recharge. When dashing Hematite appears to teleport or is no more than a blur, her movements tend to defy standard physics as they involve instantons acceleration and come to instantons and complete stops. This speed can only be used to dash around; it cannot be used on individual parts of her body to deliver lightning fast blows.

Because of Black Azezulites ability’s Hematite may reduce the output of her Burst-Dash, lowering the speed and distance she covers to increase the total number of times she may use this ability. The upper limit is a doubling of her total number of dashes, which results in halving both her speed and distance

Light Manipulation:
As a fusion Hematite has inherited Black Azezulites powers of light manipulation, however her abilities are more internalized and geared towards optimizing herself for combat and so has more accurately and precisely control  over her energy usage for her other special ability’s then most other fusions might possess. Black Azezulite’s powers over light manipulation also render Hematite immune to similar powers capable of affecting gems. Finally, in the initial stage of fusion before her body fully resolves Hematite is able to choose an optimized form, Compressed, Standard, or Expanded.

Standard:
In this state Hematite is of normal fusion size, and her abilities are at their most well rounded, this is the form most frequently used when dealing with other fusions, or when either compression or expansion would prove to be a liability in some way

Compression:
By compressing the light and energy of her fusion into a smaller and more compact form Hematite is able to greatly increase her strength, speed, stamina, and physical resistance to harm, however doing so results in decreasing the amount of power she can exert with her special ability’s, meaning fewer uses and more recharges. This option is often chosen when dealing with a situation where greater base ability’s would be preferred over more extensive use of her special ability’s.

Expansion:
By expanding the light of her fusion and increasing her size Hematite physically weakens herself, lowering her resistance to harm, her running speed, strength, and stamina, however in her larger state she is able to store and generate more energy for her special ability’s, allowing for more frequent and powerful blasts from her arm cannon, longer and more frequent burst dashes and a far more efficient and powerful deflection shield.

Meaning:

Appearance:
Hematite’s form was most strongly influenced by Spessarite as she was the more combat oriented of the two. As such Hematite is covered in more modern and futuristic armor consisting of interlocking angled, curved and smooth plates meant to deflect or absorb incoming attacks as much as possible. These interlocking plates cover almost her entire body, the most exposed joints being the inside of her hips, her knees, armpits, elbows, and neck. These joints are protected only by Hematite’s under-suit which is composed of smaller hexagonal plates layered over a stretchy ferromagnetic polymer gel. While her face is not visible behind her helmet she has four eyes, two are positioned normally while the other two are both further up and angled more to the sides increasing her field of vision to roughly a two hundred and fifty degree arc around herself. The helmet consists of a dark visor which conceals her eyes, and a mouth guard with air vents, the back of Hematite’s helmet opens up to allow her waist long platinum blond hair to move freely and hang down her back. The back of Hematite’s body is covered in vents of varying sizes and shapes, the one’s along her back over her shoulders, as well as the vents along the back of her legs strongly resemble futuristic thruster vernier. Whenever Hematite exhausts her power reserves her vents make a discharge of steam as her body cools and begins to recharge. While Hematite's under-suit is a matte black, her armor plates are a polished black metal

Personality:
Hematite is 100% a combat fusion. She exists only to fulfill combat related objectives, and her personality is reflective of this. She speaks in both a robotic manner and tone. Because of Black Azezulites nature she is without emotion, and thinks only of completing her objective. Because this is not a well-balanced fusion between Spessarite and Black Azezulite Hematite can be more easily overcome by appealing to Spessarite who’s emotions and chivalric code are being actively suppressed and filtered out by Black Azezulite.
