The Axe head is slightly longer than normal consisting of a curved blade that stretches down along the shaft slightly, while the hook on the opposite end consists of four protrusions each stretching out in its own direction, up and down the shat or to either side of the axe blade. Finally the pike has three short serrated barbs meant to inflict additional tearing and rending when pulled out of an enemy.

Smokey Quartz is capable of transforming her body into an ethereal mist/ smoke form. While in this incorporeal form Smokey appears as a light grey semi-transparent smoke or mist, is capable of flight, can move through cracks and vents, and is impervious to physical attacks. However there are a number of drawbacks to being in this form, first while incorporeal Smokey is incapable of physically affecting the world, and while she is immune to physical harm electricity is far more harmful to her, and it is entirely possible to freeze her. Smokey’s flight speed is extremely limited as well, she can fly only about as fast as she could normally walk, and while she is resistant to winds blowing her around a strong enough gust can send her on her way. Finally while Smokey is capable of occupying small spaces her volume remains consistent, the smaller the space she chooses to occupy the thicker and more visible her smoke form whereas the larger the space she tries to fill the thinner and less visible she becomes, additionally, she cannot return to her physical form if the place she is in is too small to accommodate her body.

Smokey wears a long grey military styled trench coat with matching silver band. While her hands are covered in black leather gloves she wears a pair of matching oxford dress shoes. Underneath her trench coat Smokey wears a pair of white pants and a silver button up dress shirt with white neckerchief, although this is not normally visible as she typically wears a silver scarf tucked around her neck under the collar of her coat

As Silver Diamond she wears a long black heavy cape with high collar, the back of the cape stretches down to her ankles, while the front consists of a buttoned cross section that covers from the bottom of her neck down to half way between her bicep and elbows on her chest. The inside of the cape is a deep royal blue and the connecting embroidery was thin line of silver. The adjoining button is a silver diamond crest crossed by a pair of swords. Underneath her cape Silver wears a long two tailed officer’s jacket the tails ending at her knees. The outside and majority covers of her jacket were white, the inside folded halves of the jacket as well as the cuffs were black, while the embroidery and buttons were silver, on either shoulder were a pair of embroidered silver epaulets with shoulder hanging tassels while the inside neck of her officers jacket sports a puffed blueish-silver neckerchief. Silver also wore a pair of white dress gloves in addition to her jacket and matching white pants which were in turn contrasted by knee high black jackboots. Finally, as Silver Diamond she wore a silver mask cast with a stern but neutral expression over her face.

Smokey is a brilliant strategist and tactician, favoring the use of spies, saboteurs, assassins, and guerrilla warfare over direct confrontation. As a rule she prefers to defeat her enemy’s in detail whenever possible and avoids large scale conflicts that were not of her choosing. She is practical and detail orientated, taking the time to consider all her options before committing to any one action over another. Smokey often comes off as cold, calculating because of her no-nonsense victory first attitude, or morbid and sarcastic due to her sense of gallows humor, in all instances those who do not know Smokey well find her aloof because she very rarely puts forth any effort to socialize or relate to others instead often maintaining the image of the unflappable commander which only serves to further isolate her from those outside her inner circle. Because of her age Smokey dislikes wasting her time and is often very direct, forgoing civil nicety’s to get to the heart of the matter as quickly as possible; ironically while Smokey dislikes others wasting her time she is prone to long winded explanations of her plans and thought processes, and is known to explain to her enemy’s as they sit in the wreckage of their fortresses the exact process by which she attained her victory step by incremental step, unlike most who pontificate or gloat Smokey keeps her weapon drawn and ready to deal the final blow should her opponent attempt to interrupt her. As Smokey was a military gem she respects discipline and holds loyalty as the most admirable trait one can possess, be that to a cause, set of beliefs, or individuals, as such Smokey dose not pass judgment on most gems, particularly for what they did in the civil war as loyalty’s were torn on both sides. While Smokey is often considered callus due to fact that she will not blink at the prospect of losing gems under her command should a plan call for such sacrifices, she values the life of each person under her command and refuses to waste lives, and views any death that could have been avoided on her side as being her personal responsibility.

As Silver she was a fleet admiral, taking the gem armada from world to world and subduing local populations that would present a problem to gem colonization efforts, in this time Silver waged countless battles both from above and below using ground tactics after her orbital bombardments decimated the majority of her enemy’s military installations. Silver Diamond disliked waste and prized efficacy, and so avoided scenarios where she would suffer more than the most minimal casualty’s, this earned her the loyalty but not adoration of her troops as they recognized she would not send anyone to die a needless death. When Rose Quartz began her rebellion Silver Diamond carefully analyzed Rose’s forces as well as the logic behind her decision. Ultimately Silver determined that Rose was being sentimental in her reasoning, but that she had a number of valid points, namely that Gem society was stagnating and would not develop further if they did not allow other civilizations to prosper. Silver advocated this point to the other diamonds, stating that as a species they now needed an intergalactic community to further their own societal advancement, Yellow diamond opposed this idea on the grounds that it would open gems up to attack by other species and that they should stay their current course, ultimately Yellow won out with the other Diamonds.

Removing her mask and abdicating her position Silver took on a new identity and began a rebellion of her own on a still developing gem colony world, because she abandoned her former rank few gems were willing to trust her, this combined with her personality resulted in Smokey having substantially fewer supporters then Rose. In spite of the major deficit in her own forces Smokey was able to drag out the conflict on her world for over a thousand years before she was ultimately forced to retreat and send her remaining generals off world to other planets that had higher odds of mounting a successful rebellion. While rebelling Smokey made numerous attempts to court her ‘sister’ White Azezulite to her side of the war in spite of White’s protests and attempts to remain neutral in the conflict, ultimately Smokey’s continued pressure and insistence that it was not possible to remain neutral in the civil war caused White Azezulite to suffer a major psychological break down which in turn transformed her into Black Azezulite, something Smokey holds only herself accountable for, likewise she views all the things Black Azezulite has done to be her own fault for causing the transformation in White.

After her defeat and the realization that she did not have the means to undo the damage she had caused to White Azezulite, Smokey stole an advanced stealth recon ship and made way to Earth, intent on using herself as a distraction so that her generals would encounter less resistance in their own escapes to other planets. Smokey had originally planed on meeting up with Rose and her forces believing that Earth was now a rebel strong hold. Her discovery of the current state of affairs threw her plans into disarray, however she has chosen to remain on Earth as it serves as a symbol of success on other worlds that rebelled in the empire, and it’s relative isolation means that Home World is more inclined to ignore the planet and those on it.
