The Elite Guards Troopers were an elite clone unit intended to serve as guards of places or people. They were mainly used to serve as bodyguards for high ranking individuals in the Army of the Republic as well as people outside the army but who were still important individuals for the Republic. They were also often seen acting as security guards for the various ships that were part of the Navy of the Republic. Usually protecting the Ships' Bridges, as well as other vital places on the ships. In addition to protecting the ships themselves, they also protected those responsible for leading the ships, such as admirals.These troopers were ready to use any type of weapon, with high efficiency, being incredibly skilled with any type of weapon that was placed in their hands. The armaments of these troopers could vary from individual to individual, or depending on where they were stationed.
The armor of these troopers could also vary greatly depending on where they were stationed, the units they were part of or their leaders.
