Description Summary: After escaping their cell, Tywyll Heliwr runs in the opposite direction from Guinevere Manten. Cloaked with the Force, Tywyll Heliwr follows the guards in hopes that they will lead her to either Gwen and her things or sensitive areas of the ship, where Tywyll Heliwr might access information on Patient Zero for the Rhakghoul virus. Tywyll Heliwr is able to rescue Nigdy Ciemny only after one of Tharax's pet projects escapes and starts killing guards.  Tywyll Heliwr and Nigdy Ciemny are chased through the ship by Vladislous Draguul Tipish, seeking to consume Tywyll Heliwr due to a ravenous hunger created by a terrible engine which Tharax implanted within his body.

Once out of their cell, Tywyll Heliwr had headed off in the opposite direction of Gwen with the belief that the few guards present would have a harder time recapturing both of them by using that tactic. Tywyll Heliwr cloaked herself with the Force before slipping around a corner. She scrambled up onto the ceiling of the hallway to hide and listened to the approaching footfall of the guards. Tywyll Heliwr counted two minds and two pairs of feet, which left one guard chasing Gwen. Tywyll Heliwr hoped that Gwen would be able to outrun one guard long enough to find a maintentance hatch. In the meantime, Tywyll Heliwr waited to see in which direction the guards would choose to go next since she predicted that it would seem like she had just disappeared into thin air.

Cursing, the guard looked back and forth, his stormtrooper armor glistening white, as he aimed his blaster down each hall. "DK-203 reporting in...escaped prisoner 401 (Tywyll) is suspected to be heading to Lab 05." He communicated over the coms, using his helmet coms unit. "Rodger, inspect Lab 05-10, use caution....one of the "projects" is getting restless." With that, the guard ran to the left and down another hall, presumibly towards the labs, as would a few other troopers...leaving the right path open.

Deciding that the best way right now to find where Gwen and her own equipment may have been stashed would be to follow the guard below her, Tywyll Heliwr followed the guard by crawling across the ceiling. Other guards ran by underneath her as she made progress along with them down the hall.

As she followed them she'd go deeper in the ship, away from the thief and the escape route. As they reached the laboratory halls, Tywyll feels something....wrong within these labs....a nasty creeping rancid force presence. It was coming from directly ahead behind the doors marked 'Experiment 00 Codename Vampyr'. The guards moved slowly through the labs as one checked the rancid feeling one. "help.....me." came a weak voice from inside.

With so many guards passing through the lab's door at one time, Tywyll Heliwr had little need to time her own entrance through the door. She held down the sudden rise of bile in her stomach in response to the sudden assault of a resonance that bore the marks of decay and an almost ecstatic response connected to performing the most inhumane of acts. Tywyll Heliwr scanned the whole room for the missing equipment with a strong interest in getting Nigdy Ciemny out of that lab as soon as possible if he was here. Even though she knew that her weapon did not speak with a physical voice, Tywyll Heliwr did move closer across the ceiling to the source of the pleading voice.

"tch there's nothing here, Dk. You're losing your marbles," the squad's sargent stated angrily. "I swear she was heading this way, Sarge." he grumbled as the trooper looked around, opening one of the examination rooms. Right next door to 00, she'd see or sense her weapon inside. To do xso, she'd need to get close to the holding cell of examination room 00. "Feed....meeeeeeeee," came a long growling weak voice, desperate for something to eat. It was then loud mutterings came from it. "LEMME OUT...I MUST FEED, GET ME FOOOOD!" roared the being, as the doors bent suddenly before all went quiet and the surge of rancid force energy started dying down. "I don't know why those psycho witches keep it around...freaks me out every time...." one of the troopers muttered.

Tywyll Heliwr reached out with the Force to try and sense where Nigdy Ciemny might be. For now,she ignored the voice calling for help and crawled across the ceiling towards the lab containing her weapon.

Not seeing her, the guard left the lab as she saw her weapon in a container with a warning, "Do not physically touch!" stuck to it. Seems they learned not to physically touch it. As she was a shining beacon of force energy, the being in the cell next door to her right now turned to look at the wall. He felt her behind. "Food.....food has come on their own?" the voice asked, before a human arm broke through the wall, trying to grab her, and thus shattered the container holding her weapon. Due to him shoving his arm into the glass, he was slashed and cut on top of shocked, for he hit her weapon with  his arm. Snarling, he pulled his arm back. "Damn it....I just need food!" The voice growled. "SARGE! it put a hole in the wall!" the trooper, who was inspecting that lab, had watched it happen, "damn it...we're not equipped for it!"

This was not one of Tywyll Heliwr's most shining moments. Tywyll Heliwr could tell that the experiment from next door, coming through the wall, could sense her through the Force. Believing that the experiment would not be able to do much harm to Nigby Ciemny and that she could not go for him as long as the guards were near, she decided to focus more on pulling the experiment around the lab and towards the guards by remaining just above them unseen on the ceiling, while moving to stay just out of reach of the ravenous being.

She'd be right that it was following her...snarling. The doors dented and bent again, as it was rammed twice, before they went flying off from a surge in the force. The being inside snarled as the five troopers at the end of the hallway fired into it, dropping the beasty. They went to help the two trooper hit by the doors.

"Fiiinally......foooooood," came its voice again and out leaped a human being, with short spiked black hair, a sleeveless black vest, snake like red human eyes, white skin, and animal canines. He tackled the center trooper, biting into his throat and taking him to the floor. The troopers, helping their fallen comrades, fell back, screaming in fear as this being drank their comrade's blood. There was something more sinister at work. Tywyll could sense this being was draining the trooper of his life force. As he drained every ounce of his life force, red lightning coursed over his body where the blaster holes and cuts from the glass bled; they were closing. "FINALLY!" he roared and grabbed the closest K.O.'ed soldier, draining him dry before smashing him into the ground, his neck snapping wetly. Vlad the Vampyr was free.

Once the experiment engaged the troopers, Tywyll Heliwr scampered across the ceiling back towards the lab where she knew that Nigdy Ciemny was. Dropping from the ceiling, Tywyll Heliwr crouched and picked up the Bio sonic folding rife scythe. Unfolding him and locking the barrel and stock in place, she switched the weapon to his blade setting. She did a careful scan of the room for any of her other things while wondering if the loose experiment would provide the best distraction or if he would return in search of her after preying on the troopers in the hall. Tywyll Heliwr rationalized that she could not justify killing the experiment until it had actually done something like kill sentient beings.

Nigdy Ciemny projected to Tywyll Heliwr, *I am so glad to see you again...and....oh...do not even think of going down such a path!*

Tywyll Heliwr projected to Nigdy Ciemny, *What would you have me do? Just allow him to rampage through the ship killing? He could hurt Gwynhyvar Man-ten if he finds her.*

Nigdy Ciemny projected to Tywyll Helliwr, *Who is Gwynhyvar....nevermind...tell me later when we know whether that experiment is coming back here or not.*

As Ty got her weapon, they'd hear one final scream from the Sergeant, as it turned into a guttural noise, after a sickening crunch and a wet thud. With a deep breath, Vlad healed the damage to his body, thanks to his little secret. As it stopped, Ty would sense....screaming...as if the troopers were trapped inside of him. She'd hear a door break down, as Vlad hunted for them and for something else. Finding it, she'd hear more troopers, followed by a lightsaber activating. "Feed me!" he roared and started tearing the troopers apart, as the ships alarms were triggered by his escape. Screams and blaster fire, followed by the sound of blood spilling came from the hall way. Snarling and battle was all that was heard. These troopers were not equipped to deal with this experiment.

Failing to find any of Gwen's or her other equipment in the room, Tywyll Heliwr left the lab and headed for the other lab, where she had heard the voice pleading for help. Nigdy Ciemny projected to Tywyll Heliwr, *You are just going to let that experiment storm through the hallways killing others now? I can tell that you can feel what he is doing to his victims.*

Tywyll Heliwr projected back to Nigdy Ciemny, *I thought you told me not to go down 'that' path. If you do not want me to hunt that experiment down and kill it in order to stop it, then what is it that you want me to do instead?*

Nigdy Ciemny projected back to Tywyll Heliwr, *Fine. Count on us have a discussion about the differences between utilitarian ethics and....oh....nevermind..*

But none of Gwen's stuff would be in the labs. Why would every day items witches could buy off a black market or at a store be in a research laboratory with a living weapon? Anyways, Vlad would come back, eyes still clouded from the piercing hunger the device in his body was forcing upon him. He was soaked in blood. It literally dripped from his chin, hands and chest. "seeeeeemoooore.......feeeed meeee." He growled, his beady eyes scanned the room, as they visibly shook as if the rush of feasting on life forces was a drug for him.

Tywyll Heliwr stepped into the halls cloaked and made her way back down the corridor, following the way she had come when she followed the guards in the beginning. This time, she moved along the walkways and moved at such a pace as to stay far enough ahead without giving away her position. Tywyll Heliwr was aware that the experiment behind her was very powerful in the Force and decided to wait to engage him. Instead, she tried to recall a more open area along her return route that might afford the being a greater number of prey. Nigdy Ciemny grumbled in Tywyll Helliwr's head.

Tywyll Heliwr projected to Nigdy Ciemny, *I get it, you do not like this. A more open area might improve my chances of survival.*

Nigdy Ciemny projected to Tywyll Heliwr, *We definitely need to have a talk about doing the right things for the right reasons....if you survive this.*

Vlad followed her force presence, his saber still on. She was faster than him but he had something she didn't- brute strength. "I can sense you," vlad growled at Ty and leaped up at her, trying to ram into her with his shoulder. He aimed for the general area in which he detected her cloak. "I need your energy...give me your life force!" He growled, slashing at her after the impact. His red saber cutting a swath into the ceiling. If he missed, then there would be a sickening crunch from his impact.

Being both a trained and experienced hunter of darkside beasts, Tywyll Heliwr proved to be extremely difficult to hit. There was a reason that she had made it to twenty three and she had every intention of making it to her next birthday. She did feel a breeze and hear a smash as the experiment impacted with a sick sounding crunch behind her. She thought she might have smelled burning hair and did not turn to see if he had come close enough with his saber to give her long ponytail a trim. She continued to attempt to remain just far enough ahead of him to keep him following her but never catching her, like the proverbial edible root stuck out in front of the nerf's nose to convince it to follow.

the crunch came from his shoulder being smashed to hell. Like with his earlier injuries, red lighting coursed over it as painfully loud crunches and twisting of bone echoed around them. It was slow and painful but it was healing. In frustration, Vlad screamed loud and hard. A surge of dark side power ripped through the area, bending bulkheads and destroying the hallway, as the shock wave blew towards Ty in a mad rush. Vlad was pissed. His manhunt was eluding him and he was understandably pissed off.

Tywyll Heliwr felt herself blasted backwards down the hall so far that she skidded a few feet across the floor on her back before coming to a stop. Tywyll Heliwr was now visible and her ears were ringing and pounding with pain. She could feel blood trickling out of her ears and down her neck. When Tywyll kipped up, she stumbled to one side but stayed up on her feet. As Tywyll Heliwr spun her Scythe defensively, she regarded the experiment through the spinning snath with three black eyes like fathomless voids in a pale grey face. Her somewhat filthy yet still primarily light grey attire made it difficult to see her and her spinning of Nigdy Ciemy's snath drew the eye towards the weapon in her hand. Even though the blade was not visible, there was a great deal of danger to be sensed coming from Tywyll Heliwr's position. There was no sense of fear, anger or vengeance coming from Tywyll Heliwr. In fact, Tywyll Heliwr felt like a complete emotional flatline through the Force. Tywyll Helilwr appeared to be waiting for her opponent to close the distance between the two of them.

*Missing a pose from sithman91*

Tywyll Heliwr noticed that her opponent seemed to favor this forward leaping attack accompanied by a downward swing aimed at her head. Timing things just right, Tywyll Heliwr performed a forward dive roll under her opponent as he leaped forward and over her. When she regained her feet, she brought her blade to bear and made her own vertical sweep downward with her scythe blade, attempting to slice through one of his shoulders from behind him and follow through into a hurricane like spin.

As he flew past, he stomped a leg down tearing tendons and turning as he whipped around, the engine repairing those torn muscles and tendons, as he slashed for her weapon to try and slow the weapon. For the moment, his blade hit the snath of the weapon. (If it did), Ty would feel a shock wave through the scythe. The vibrations might numb her hands from the sheer amount of force from the blow. The scythe stabbed into his left shoulder, while Vlad grabbed the top of the blade where the staff met the blade. "Gehehehe, gonna have to try harder lass," he said, regaining his mind somewhat. He was still suffering from the psychosis induced by the hunger, but he could see clearer only just. With his saber trying to keep her from following through, Vlad would try and hold the blade in place.

When her opponent's blade connected with Nigdy Ciemy's snath, it was parried. Though the heat given off from the blade did not seem to do any damage to the snath itself, Tywyll did feel a shock go through the weapon and it was only by the grace of the setae that branch out into tiny spatulae on her hands that her weapon remained in her grip. Tywyll Heliwr did feel the strain in her shoulders though and her hands felt like they were pricked with pins and needles. When Vlad did grab the top of Nigdy Ciemy's snath, Nigdy closed his eyes and released an impression into the mind of Tywyll Heliwr's opponent that Vlad was receiving a nasty shock to his system, akin to sticking a metal tool in the wrong place inside a generator when it was turned on. Because there was no physical shock delivered, Tywyll Heliwr still maintained her grip on her weapon. At this proximity, she did have her opponent's psychotic thoughts going through her head and though she could not feel fear, she did start to feel a powerful hunger.

Vlad would spasm from the shock but would laugh as he used battlemind, and crucitorn. Both would push him over the limits of his physical pain. "Weak...so weak!" he shouted and would try to push the blade from his body. Sure it'll leave a gash but he couldn't care less. Yes, he was in pain but crucitorn allowed him to trancend that level of pain tolerance, while battlemind allowed him to keep fighting. So he'd step back and try to spin and lift Ty off the ground by trying to hoist her up through the weapon and smash her onto the ground behind him, as he spun with the move. Of course, he'd let go of the weapon, his arm blackened and smoking. Both that and the cut started healing. "Time to feast," he'd growl, if he was able to pull this off.

As Tywyll Heliwr's blade comes free from the horrible gash in Vlad's shoulder, some of his blood remained suspended within part of the blade, turning that portion a bright red. Blood started to pour from the deep wound immediately and the floor became slick beneath their feet. Vlad was no longer the only one covered in blood. When he hoisted Tywyll Heliwr into the air, her body turned like a cat's and she landed on her feet. She in turn, twisted the snath and pulled it to one side across the front of Vlad's body to prevent him from bringing his sword down on her. If he continued to hold onto the weapon, then his balance would be broken, while he is standing in blood. If he released the end of her snath, then she would be free to strike.

He had let go of the snath but he wouldn't be letting her just attack. He'd try to grab her with the force and pull her into his fixed left arm, trying to grasp her around the neck if successful. As he tried to pull her, he walked forward and tried to slash one of her arms. He didn't want that big weapon coming back and stabbing him in the back. He wanted her on the defensive...to make her come into grasping range...to drain her of her life. Vlad's eyes burned with an intense hunger and need to feast upon her life force.

Tywyll Heliwr found herself being pulled towards her opponent, her feet creating trails in the blood on the floor. She knew what he had in mind because his maddening thoughts filled her head. Tywyll Heliwr bent her knees in order to drop her center and began to spin the partly visible crescent blade of Nigdy Ciemny in a figure eight pattern to discourage her opponent from pulling her any further towards him. Also, this maneuver provided her the ability to block any incoming attack and create distance between them. Vlad's blade did glance off Tywyll Heliwr's and she felt another jolt pass through her arm. She started to wonder if she was ever going to feel those appendages ever again.

Tywyll Helliwr decided to try a different tactic. She sent a thought to her opponent's mind that was the equivalent of mental shouting, *Who are you?* Her intent was not just to ask for her opponent's name but to also trigger something akin to 'A Game of You' in Vlad's head to inspire him to remember who he was in all the fury, the hunger and the pain.

Vlad snarled as she backed off again. His body having sealed up again allowing him to walk forward towards her. As she sent that thought to him, she opened herself to a mental roar of hunger coming from Vlad's mind, which was forcing him to zone in on her. The thought reached him and he paused. It was then she saw his eyes flicker somewhat from the haze of hunger. Gripping his head, Vlad screamed, "Vladis......lous......I'm Vladislous Gr-greed Tipish..." he growled, before the hunger took over again. Roaring out, he tried to blast Ty back with a force push before charging and leaping up, light saber over head."RAAAAAAAH!" he roared and aimed to once more split Ty in half.

Tywyll Heliwr's own mouth opened wide from ear to ear, exposing teeth like a saw blade, her mouth watering from the overwhelming thoughts of hunger that stormed through her mind. She thought to herself, *That hunger is not yours! Be the eye of the storm!*

Nigdy Ciemny projected to Tywyll Heliwr, *That's it! Hold on to yourself and be the center of the storm!*

For once, Tywyll Heliwr considered the medication she took that made it impossible to feel any emotions a real blessing right now. She projected to Vlad, *I am Tywyll Heliwr and you are Vladislous Greed Tipish! You are more than your hunger!*

Tywyll Heliwr found herself in flight backwards again. Only this time, she was a little more prepared for it. When she landed on her back again, she did a couple of backwards rolls and tumbled out of the way of Vladislous's descending blade. Tywyll Heliwr dashed away from Vladislous down the hallway to see if she could buy more time to get through to him. There was a flicker of consciousness and she hoped to fan the flames of his thoughts into the fire of lucidity. As she ran, Tywyll Heliwr sent her memory of first hearing his voice and the words he used, how he had called for help.

Those thoughts were drowned out this time. Vlad's mind had fallen into the psychosis now- the hunger of the engine driving him. His addiction to it pushing him forward. As she ran off and he gave chase, storm troopers fired at both of them. Vlad yanked two of their number towards him, hand going through one, sucking his life away, briefly cooling the flames of his hunger. Vlad's eyes rolled back in bliss of how the hunger calmed a bit more, before throwing down that body. The other smashed him in the face with his gun, earning him a saber through the gut, as he grabbed him by the throat. Vlad growled, jaw popping and cracking, as it healed, and the trooper died in pain, as his life was drained away, the other troopers shitting themselves.

When the stormtroopers open fired, Tywyll Heliwr did what she had been trained to do, using the movements only from her gun katas to avoid the traditional trajectories of gunfire, even though she was not using Nigdy Ciemny on his firearm setting. Once Vlad engaged the troopers, she took a moment to watch how he fought them and how quick he was to heal so many wounds. She wondered how he could be stopped or for that matter ended.

Since he had somewhat had some of his hunger sated again, Tywyll Heliwr decided to attempt to send thoughts to his mind. Tywyll Heliwr moved into a range that her modified scrambler would allow her to project to her target and she projected to Vladisilous, *Who are you? Why are you so hungry?*

Tywyll Heliwr predicted that Vladisious would renew his pursuit of her the moment she sent that thought, so she dashed out of range again for her scrambler to send him any further thoughts and on down the hallway away from him.

Vlad would deal with the soldiers later and came right after her but this time he stopped midway. Ty could hear his mind was calming down. "ngh.....shut up...." he growled but not at her. When she asked why he was hungry, he glared at her and sheathed his saber. "Because of an experiment.....now leave.....else I might lose control again....it requires more life." He told her and walked away, heading for an escape pod. He was still dripping with his own blood and his foes', as his body healed.

Tywyll Heliwr noted the location of the escape pods and decided that Vladislous would make use of one now versus later. Now, all she had to do was find Guenevere Manten in the maintenance crawl spaces. Tywyll Heliwr hoped that the young thief had made her way towards the engines, so that the white noise created by the ship's engines would confuse any sensors, particularly those designed to pick up life signs. Tywyll Heliwr searched for an entrance to the maintenance crawl spaces and tried to remember if she had seen any computer consoles back in the labs.
