That quote would have been romantic if I could remember it correctly, so I'm sorry if I got it wrong. Chie says something like that at one point, though.

So... Souji/Chie! It's not a very popular pairing, so I thought I'd show them some love. Chie was the only girl I pursued an intimate relationship with on my first playthrough. That being said, I'm not a huge fan of Souji/Chie. It was still fun to draw!

Pencil sketch! Fun, but looks like shit once you scan it in. Also, I was going for a cute moment where Chie rests her eyes and Souji just sits with her, but he kinda came out looking like a creep. XP
