What have I been working on? Why the lack of drawn art? Simple! I got shanghaied into helping a friend build a 40k army for next year's Armies on Parade! The basic back-story, is that Bret and I despise the miniatures for Plague Marines. They're all festering, bloated, and have bits pouring out. So, we put our heads together, got a bunch of Skaven from Warhammer Fantasy, and put Chaos Marine bits onto them. Boom! Instant Plague Marines!

Bret and I undertook a MASSIVE tag-team, to bring this one to life. Essentially, we didn't care much for the Heldrake model. It had little to no back half, no tail, just a massive "goatse" thruster under a tiny nub of tail. So, we combined the kit with a Fantasy High Elf dragon, making it look as if the Skaven captured it, enslaved it, and grafted eldritch cyber-ware to its flesh. Extra cables and hoses made with bass strings, and we have a little tiny rat on the cyborg dragon's head, leading it with a piece of cheese on a long pole.
