How can one define courage?Is it about letting one's heart be seen inside-out?
Or about suppressing one's emotions from coming out?
Is to let one's feelings burst, like butterflies fluttering out a cage acceptable?
Or to die inside and losing the spark in their eyes much more sensible?
Oftentimes, it is deemed courageous,
If one withstand their caged, thwarted hearts,
But, please know that it is also courageous,
To show a damaged self,
To choose to be felt, and be seen,
In your raw, vulnerable state and skin.
