Love isn't excuse for fetish of yaoi.
You wanted reasons:
First, they are males. Second, they are straight, as shown in the HTF. Third, they never met in show, I mean, never ever, in any of episodes. Fourth, pairing makes no sense, having no chemistry at all, and it's only popular because of enormous bandwagon of mindless shippers. You know, ones who see two boys humping each other and immediately go "awww cute kawai desu" so it spreads like flu. One of reasons I hate it is that it's overrated as I don't know what.
In your turn, I'd like to know why you think this pairing doesn't suck.

Take any art, replace details such as haircut/color, outfit etc., and you'll have piece of yaoi of just as much worth.

There are many people out there that ship two males or females together because they actually think they'd make a good pair, not just fanservice. Not everyone who draws a gay couple is a yaoi fangirl. If the shipping is popular, there's SOME reason behind it, even if it's stupid to some. Ships don't just become popular because they're SO KAWAIIDESU.

i think this picture is magnificent. you don't have to look at it if you don't like yaoi, so i dont think it's any of your business commenting on other peoples art about what you like/dont like in a "pitying" way. a better comment would have been around the lines of "the style is good" so you are still complimenting the art, but not saying whether or not you like the pairing.
