Please read before commentingThis is still far from being done, and the 'frames' you are seeing are also not permanent. They were simply part of what had to be submitted to show I had made the layers I was supposed to and could save it as a swf. They'll be arranged in a proper, smoother order later (Especially the expressions. I was just supposed to be showing the faces I had made) I had to draw like...I'm gonna take a wild guess and say roughly 40ish more symbols to get it from the previous to this. Obviously the rest of it will be animated too. I'm just showing you guys the progress as I go along caaaauuuse.......why not =I XPXP
Oh and also this is my first time animating in this fashion. Learning it all for the first time 'n such =I So I'm starting out rather simple. (Less things to mess up |D )

They have their own language, but they learn to mimic others relatively fast--they do a lot based on sound rathe rthan actual word though--which is why their 'names' are so weird.

They're adaptive =o as I said. For the sake of the story they seem to interact just fine with other species. Why isn't particularly explained--tis just an assumed matter of fact. =o But there are theories behind it one could consider.

Right now, it all don't make sense. Random assortment of expressions being put into motion.
But it looks like its proceeding.
Question, are you planning on putting the body in motion as well? Cause if you aren't, then there is no need for more than a head-shot.

Yeah the whole body is supposed to go into emotion eventually here. I think that's actually what I'm supposed to do next. The expression part was more or less practice if I'm seeing my classes right, for the sort of grand finale part. 'Cause eventually lil Smiley kitty here will only be a small part in things. Gotta add sounds and speshul effects and make a short video thingy utilizing various sound things they give me. BUT. That's eventually. Right now most of these things are just to learn how to make things work I believe
