Recently, I learned about the concept of Kairos (and Chronos) time. Thought it was really cool, and hey, DML has Chronos already, why not design Kairos too?

"During a routine expedition of Lost World, an unknown mist was discovered in the wilderness. Luckily, it appeared harmless to both flora and fauna. To the explorers' worry though, the mist was spreading, and with seemingly no origin, stopping the spread proved to be a tall order.
Over time, the mist consumed most of the island. As it turned out, high exposure to the mist caused hallucinations. The distortions made Lost World practically unlivable, so efforts to find a solution intensified. With the discovery of powerful Void dragons being immune to the mist's effect, numerous quests soon followed.
Several broken walls and floors beneath the Ancient palace later, the source was found: a massive, serpentine dragon, with its lower body being completely made out of the mist. Unfortunately, no matter what anyone tried, the dragon didn't react at all, and simply kept on slumbering. In the same hidden room as the dragon, an artifact laid on the ground. One similar to a Seal of History, yet still clearly different. After the discovery, teams with Earth dragons scrambled to the other ruins, using a similar strategy used to find the dragon - breaking walls -, in hopes of finding the other seals.
Eventually, all 6 were found, and brought to the dragon. The effort paid off, as the dragon finally awoke. It introduced itself as Kairos, grandson of Chronos, and a fellow time lord. He escaped the curse that turned Chronos to stone by hiding beneath his home, but was nonetheless effected, albeit less.

Since that day, Kairos occupies the Ancient palace, and assists those he respects with timing their activities properly."
