Description
Why oh why must I hear the sad bird sing?
Its tone ever lonesome and depressing.
My brow furrows with crevices in saddening reaction.
It makes my heart last in forever contraction.
Like a picture caught a youth as the older eye glosses over it in memory.
I see to want what many wish to gain in everlasting immortality.
To be forever gleeful and above it all.
When I know that it is not true at all.
For when we are struck down we must dwell a little while in sadness.
In order to understand true happiness.
So I say to you little bird know this.
Your sadness is momentary in your present state
because happiness tends to await you in future state.
So I say unto you little bird "Do not be late!"
