Here is an photo of Dreadwing in his fighter jet alt-mode carrying Needlenose into battle.

The fact that being redecoed/retooled from Skyquake (Dreadwing's brother) along with keeping the slots on the alt-mode and acknowledging that Needlenose can be attached to either one was something worth ready since I already owned Needlenose and I feel like Dreadwing would go along with Needlenose rather well.
