Here is an image of an smartly dressed blue-feathered anthro owl.

My partial inspiration for him is none other than Professor Owl from the Adventures in Music Duology ("Melody" and "Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom") from 1953 and Disney's Sing-Along Songs, though neither one look-alike especially since Professor Owl is more stout in build (as were most of Bill Thompson's characters (such as the White Rabbit and Mr. Smee) were for Disney), though both are blue owls.
