Back once more to the What if idea of BBC Alba launching 40 years before 2008.From it's interception in 1968 until 2008, BBC Alba used clocks, either to introduce news bulletins or be used for closedown purposes, while the first clock was matched to BBC Alba's English-language continuity, and did so as such for an English language news programme or closedowns if the last programme was in English, it was also (strangely) used to introduce BBC Alba's Scottish language news programme, Naidheachdan airson Alba (which lasted until 2008) and for closedowns if the last programme was in the Scottish language until 1969.
