Description BBC Alba made a separate clock model for use to introduce Scottish language news programmes and Scottish language closedowns, it did not have the dviding-line, nor did it had a blue BBC Alba logo, like the Scottish flag ident that was used for BBC Alba's Scottish language programmes, it was used for nearly 22 years.

But by the time BBC Alba started to use the COW globe and it's accompanying clock and the new presentation-style in 1985, this, BBC Alba's Scottish flag ident and the BBC Alba's Scottish langauge-exclusive presentation style felt dated and still rooted in their late-1960s origins, which did not help that BBC Alba did not have the budget to revamp it's idents and presentation style for the Scottish-language programmes until 1991, and made even worse by the fact that BBC Alba's Scottish flag ident had deteriorated to the point that BBC Alba did not bother to restore it and transfered the original negative to laserdisc instead (but the problems were still inherited from the deteriorating 35mm negative) in 1987. On the 16th of February 1991, BBC Alba did a full-proper revamp, with a new-look that would be used at all times, finally putting an end to BBC Alba 1960's clock, BBC Alba's Scottish flag ident and the BBC Alba's 1969 Scottish langauge-exclusive presentation style.
