Imagine an alternate reality where BBC Alba was launched in 1968 instead of 2008, this is what one of those BBC Alba ident looked like.Launched in 1968, BBC Alba was a (former) dual English/Scottish language channel, broadcasting English language programmes and Scottish language programmes. Up until 1991, the globes were only used the English-only programmes, with an animated ident featuring the Scottish flag was used for Gaelic language programmes.
