Description
Someone once said that the only thing obscene is the concept of obscenity itselfSo I'll listen to your chest as you glisten and undress as I pull another novel off my shelf
What some call pornographic, I've learned to call magic, despite all the forces of habit
Because despite what pill you take, you'll never find your place until you catch that white rabbit
Cause love may fill your heart, but she'll sacrifice your head if you let her be queen
Cause she doesn't do reason, yeah those things are treason, if you do what she thinks as obscene
Free love doesn't exist under her monarchy, she'll ask you to be her only, always saying honor me
Maybe she's cursed by a false prophet's verse that says that pious is purity and monogamy
At the extreme of the dichotomy she's sitting on a throne wearing white robes and rose tinted spectacles
Millennia her west eye sees sin and death inside your mind, in your blood, and in your testicles
Seed to be slaughtered, dead sons and daughters, that's all she sees, it's just living cannon fodder
So why even bother when love has become a tyrant and a psychopath
Doing everything she wishes just to avoid her violent wrath
I took a while and meditated, on the eons and how we procreated
The erotic has become the exotic because the truth has dissipated
Man has tried to put a line between pornography and godly arts
But when did we become less startled by sculpted marble than body parts?
We treat the female areola like Medusa's boas with ebola
And erections are perpetuated as living children of Krakatoa
Violent and murder in media are focused on and simulated
But sexuality is treated taboo, yet tease and insinuate it
You know you wanna do it, but then they'll call you tramp so forget it
Used to draw us into attention, using a natural urge as a weapon
Treated as shallow and objectifying unless it's in wedlock
In the dark, missionary, closed doors that are deadlocked
What does it say about the human condition when movies glorify war, men dead forever
Than nude souls and bodies holding each other in bed together
Someone once said that the only thing obscene is the concept of obscenity itself
So I'll listen to your chest as you glisten and undress as I push another novel off my shelf
