Nicky was a rich brat born in London. She was a big junkie and her idea of fun was being high as a kite. She would indulge in all the abusive substances cocaine, heroin, marijuana, LSD and god knows what.
One day while experimenting with her drugs with her junkie friends, she made a bet to take a cocktail of different drugs. When she shot her load she was able to see the different goblins around people. The little goblins were like operating system of peoples bodies.
She called out to them and they listened. That’s how she came to know her mutant gift.
When Xavier was looking for mutants to save X-Men from KRAKOA, he found her too. She was a real mess then.
Later Xavier worked with her and was able to free her from the evil influence of the drugs.
She later opened a carnival where she performs and tries to gain sympathy for mutants and their cause from common folks.
