Ender and Raine, with their mateship born out of nothing but their parents need for new allegiances and the state of the pack now getting back to some semblance of normalcy. Raine and Ender realize that while they might not have been ready for the life that was created for them, the pair still tries to have heart to heart over the current state of things.Raine needs support and Ender offers only more questions. Soon enough the open conversation sours as it becomes apparent that the two have differing opinions on what matters to them as a pack and as a pair.
