Okay, I don't regret cosplaying Steve a second time during Otakon. At all.
This is not the whole cast, but those are the best Code:Veronica characters anyway
(Alfred too...we'll just assume it's him as Alexia XD)A special thank to for taking some time to photograph us during that horrible heat!

I'm honestly not trying to sound rude to everyone since you're all leaving such nice comments but the comments about retouching really annoy me. It's not like we've been re-touched to the point of not looking like ourselves. It was tastefully done and not overly-so. I really love the "painting" look...(not sure what the proper term for this style of retouching is called ) But we still look like US...not fake or like completely different people, or even overly photoshopped like A LOT of cosplayers look when they try to "retouch." And I honestly don't see how the "retouching" altered our expressions...maybe we just lacked it in this shot? I know I wasn't going for any certain emotion. In my mind, I was mimicking a certain facial expression Claire makes in one of her renders. I wouldn't say we look completely emotionless, though emotion is lacking,...but this shot also wasn't intended to be something "overly emotional." Although I accept that as a fair critique, because I can understand that leaving something to be desired.`

I kinda knew you would reply to this. It's certain that we look at bit emotionless but it's not like we were trying to convert a certain feeling either. It was just a pose for a pose, but I have to admit that it certainly has a "painting" look which I kinda like too.
But yeah, let's not start something here, I don't think my friend said it in a bad way, she's a cosplay photographer so she probably just noticed that it was retouched.

I wasn't trying to start a fight, that's why I kept stressing that I wasn't trying to come off as rude (because I knew reading it without being able to hear my tone of voice it was probably going to come off like that. xD) I just don't like the feeling of being possibly looped in with people who photoshop themselves so much it either looks bad/fake or nothing like how the models actually look....when that's not the case with us/this photograph. So that's why I felt like I haaaaad to say something. >3>;

I know I know! But my friend wasn't wrong by pointing it either. Because yeah, a photo can't look like that without some touch-ups. (but yeah, it's not like we were actually "transformed" XD....like that picture of the RE2 naked Claire...goshh...)

I seriously feel like I look more like myself IRL in this photograph then I do in a lot of non-retouched photos (and I know our Alexia feels the same way) because sometimes certain shadows and lighting in photographs can do really unflattering things to your face...that leave you wondering things like "WTF. I LOOK NOTHING LIKE THAT. WHY CANT I JUST LOOK LIKE MYSELF IN PHOTOS????" XD

Well, it was re-touched yes, but we're naturally cool like that

Well, like my friend wrote, it's not like we were aiming to do a certain expression, we were just posing like that, as if it would be for the cover of the game lol and yes, I do agree that it looks a bit too retouched but we're supposed to be video game characters, so...I do like the "painting" look.

I think the editing gives a little edge to the picture instead of just looking like a normal picture someone took like that. And we were outside without any photographic material (compared to a studio), so the editing was also a bit necessary,
