Draxyl is our second new teammate, and the first to come completely of her own will. Yiggandra was hard won through a mixture of manipulation and common decency; Draxyl... not so much. She latched on to us as soon as Merk bested her in battle. We hadn't had her around five minutes before she stamped up to me, looked me right in the eye, and declared that she knew. She knew what we were doing. It was obvious after all, that we were suffering at the hands of the evil drone emperor. He's been freezing the entire continent for months, MONTHS!!! Sure, it is winter and all, but it's not THAT kind of cold. It's deeper, fiercer, more sinister than an innocent season. Why else would a creature of the northern wastes retreat this far south? If it was a normal winter, an imperrol would be unfazed by the temperature. Even more convincing, says she, is my companion Merkine. A slugwug that left the swamp. Did you hear her? A SLUGWUG OUTSIDE OF THE SWAMP!!! That just isn't natural! That just isn't right! He MUST have been driven from the swamps by the cold; it's the only thing that makes sense!

Why is he doing this, you ask? Well everyone knows that cold is the best way to kill things quietly. That's right, he's trying to MURDER the continent, and no one will suspect him! But Draxyl knows, and since I left the north, I must know too, so we must stick together (it's harder to freeze in a group).
