Description With the bombings of Operation Heresy, it seemed that the Persian war effort was on the verge of collapse and so Mohammad Mosaddegh decided to commence his stupidest plan the nationalization of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. Across the land controlled by the Iranian National Republic wherever the company operated Iranian forces turned up and in most case threw the western operators against a wall and put a bullet through their brains. Needless to say, this irritated the United Empire beyond belief and the Imperial Air Force and Navy were authorized to destroy anything of potential use to the Iranian National Republic. Alongside the Arabian Air Force, the British turned Iran into a blazing ruin where you could hardly leave shelter before being attacked by at least two Death Gliders. Of course, with the Kingdom of the Arabs and the British reducing Iran to ruins scattered across the country the Arabians were able to advance without any major resistance from the Iranians. As the Iranian front collapsed the many minorities of the state seized the chance to secure freedom with the Kurdish majority regions declaring independence under Arab protection. The Baluch majority areas attempted to declare independence but British forces from the Dominion of Baluchistan promptly swept across the border and by the 1st of December the region was formally annexed by the Dominion of Baluchistan. With the British having secured the rest of Baluchistan Iran’s other neighbours turned on the collapsing regime with Russian forces crossing the border from Azerbaijan and Central Asia on Christmas day as the final hunt for Mohammad Mosaddegh began.

Following the British attacks, he had fled into the wilds of Iran as his nation collapsed around him which contributed to the final collapse of the regime as it collapsed into anarchy. He would hide in the northern mountains where it seemed that he would stay until death as the Arabs and the British were nowhere near him during their extensive searches for him across southern Iran. However, fate had a different plan in store for him then a tribunal in London or Damascus. For as the Russians marched south they stumbled upon him hiding in an isolated cave with more alcohol then Iran would produce for the next hundred years. When he was found all, he did was offer the soldiers some vodka as they dragged him out of the cave to their commander. When Tsar Michael II announced his capture on the 5th of January the world powers turned to dividing up Iran. Permanently.

The Treaty of Tehran permanently divided the Iranian State into a few shattered puppets dancing to the whims of the Great Powers. First and foremost, Khuzestan was annexed by the Kingdom of the Arabs without any fuss as was the annexation of western Baluchistan by Baluchistan. Then it came to the more troublesome areas which were many and complicated. The largest of these was the Republic of Iranian Kurdistan which had declared independence so they could join the Assyrian-Kurdish Union the Kingdom of the Arabs did not want their northern neighbour to grow any more and vigorously supported the independence of the Iranian Republic of Kurdistan but their arguments fell on deaf ears and the Kurdish majority areas of Iran were ceded to the Assyrian-Kurdish Union. The next problem was the Russian gains as their invasion had been decisive in ending the war the government and the people both felt that they were owed more land from the carcass of Iran. The decision was to cede the lands with a large population of Azerbaijanis to Russia this took the form of a line stretching from the Assyrian-Kurdish border bisecting Lake Urmia to the Caspian Sea. Russia also managed to convince the British to carve off a chunk of north-eastern Iran to form a buffer state under a local noble. The remainder of Iran became a constitutional monarchy under the Qajar’s once more as Shah Hamid Mirza Qajar was proclaimed once again in the ruins of Tehran the status of Persia as a broken ruin of a nation dancing to the tune set by the world powers. So, thank you for listening to my speech on the Persian Collapse come back next week for why Belgium is an illegitimate creation.

With the conquest of Khuzestan and the destruction of Persia the Egyptian People lost the last bit of support they had for their government as it seemed that Pan-Arabism had triumphed over whatever forces it might face. The elections of 1949 saw an absolute sweep for the Pan-Arabist Party who’s first, last, and only bill was requesting a referendum on joining the Kingdom of the Arabs or not. The referendum passed with nearly 75% of the vote as the people clamoured for unity. When the results were shown to King Farouk he simply abdicated and left for Athens where he would die in exile. The newly declared Arabian Republic of Egypt and the Sudan formally requested to join the Kingdom of the Arabs which was accepted to great applause by the Arabian Parliament. On the 1st of June, the Arabian Republic of Egypt and the Sudan ceased to exist, and the Kingdom of the Arabs annexed it. The Kingdom was now one of the most influential nations on the planet with a diversified economy strong army and a proud united populace.
