Description
The Clone Trooper CT-014/783, also known as Eight-Three, served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars as a gunner on a LAAT/i during the Battle of Haruun Kal and other combat skirmishes and battles under the command of clone trooper lieutenant Four-One and 2nd Lieutenant CL-33/890. Frequently assisting in landings and in the rescue of stranded clones, his turret was hit by a droid fighter during one of this battles, leaving parts of the left side of his face, arm and leg which needed much repair in a bacta tank and still left him with scars that never fully healed. He later on continued to serve as a LAAT gunner until the End of the Clone Wars when he would become a civilian, with only his scars and the Republic roundel tattooed upon his heard and atop of that also imprinted on his former armor would be reminding him and others of the former time of his service. Because of prejustice, hatred and bias against many Clones, both on side of Republic and later Imperial worlds and especially on Separatist ones he actually would actually use his scars alongside the way he dressed with headgear to hide the fact that he was a Clone, or looced to much like them. In a twist of Irony Eighty-Three would also use the slang term and insult for Clones and other Kaminoan organic, sentient creations, later used by Clones even among themselves and towards others; Son of a Cloner to create his new first name, SOC, or Soc before adopting the last name of the human female Sylveli Huttslave whose family once had been forced into labor of the Hutt Crime Cartels until they could escape into a more freer labor contract with their new owner and first man in the Mid Rim. He however would be forced into the local planetary defense forces of his world and die as a poorly trained and equipped organic militia member of the Separatist Army in desperate defense of their home-world. She later fell in love with Eighty-Three, who arrived at their small partly from the Clone Wars battles destroyed town in search for a new home of his own, as his old one had been destroyed as he claimed. Soc as he would be known to her had lied to her, but was afraid to tell the hospital and friendly women Sylveli that he in truth was a Clone from Kamino, one of the people who had killed her first husband. Especial after they later formed a close friendship and a relationship of their own, but like all lies, this one would catch up with him, the moment she found out about his tattoo and started questioning him about it.
Hiding many of his clone features thanks to his scars and also the beard he had grown by then, Soc hesitated to tell her the whole truth and claimed he had been forced into a local Republic Sector and Planetary defense force, which was why he knew a little bit about weapons, but lied he had later fled out of this service as he hated the war and the life it brought with it, the last part true. In his civil life, so his lie to his later wife he had been a gunner on a trade ship armed against space pirates, which was why he also was skilled in repairs and piloting to a part, skills he used in his new profession for a local planetary trade and transport company. Thanks to the accelerated aging of himself as a Clone he also had lied to Sylveli about his true age, believing she would never guess that he was a clone when she believed he was born long before the Clone Wars and the first creation of the Clones. What he never knew was that Sylveli had joined the local militia after the death of her beloved man and fought, as well as killed and seen enough Clone Troopers to have looked trough his disguise rather early on. Despite this she knew him as a friendly and otherwise honest and hard working man, who much like her wished to escape the horrors, terrors and memories of the Clone Wars to start a new and fresh life. Because of this she had entrusted herself in him, like he did with her, as she believed he might fear she might take out revenge against him as a Clone should she uncover the truth. But despite this few lies and fears they found something in each others company that the other had missed for very long and otherwise completed each other enough to make their relationship work. When he took her last name in marriage before their first children, she actually gifted him with a new birth certificate from a friend of her in the administration, that claimed he had always been a hard working citizen and civilian on this world. With their shared love they made the few lies realities and even when later Republic Law enforcement's, Imperial recruiters and revenge seeking Separatist showed up to hunt for hiding Clones, none ever suspected Soc Huttslave and his wife Sylveli, especial not as his employer, a local trading company claimed he had worked for them from before and during the Clone Wars as well.
