For the rest of the world this meant that the only remaining superpower was gone and suddenly no world police remained to uphold the global order as the United Nations themselves and their member nations were either to week, or unwilling of doing so themselves. This meant that also QM-1 had problems when they tried to come trough the Earth Stargate in this dimension and reality, as it had been blown up and QM-1 needed to travel to Earth by Tel’tak that they stole from System Lady Hathor who had overthrown a few minor Lords and Ladies to rise to power. Apophis who had overthrown the Devil Sokar and Heru’ur alike also rose to become a major System Lord who could dominate the remnants of the Goa’uld System Lords, that therefore united against his as the biggest domain to prevent his complete rise to become the Supreme System Lord or Emperor.

He also dealt a devastating blow against the Tok’ra and free worlds, powers and species that gained him new sympathies and followers among some of the remaining Goa’uld. Back on Earth, Tau’ri meanwhile the Taliban Emirate of Afghanistan had finally won over the Northern Alliance and started a Taliban insurgency movement in Pakistan with quit some success. Because of the danger that the Taliban might capture and use Pakistani nuclear weapons, the Indian government threatened the Pakistan one to intervene with much more forces, or otherwise threatened to secure these nuclear warheads itself. At the same time the Indian Republic not only dealt with this crisis, but with Naxalite Communist rebels supported by China along it’s eastern provinces as well. In Somalia the Civil War lead to a Ethiopian intervention, against some radical rebel movements there that spilled over and also lead to a intervention of Ethiopian forces in Eritrea. The situation further deteriorated during the Arab Spring when Libya was engulfed in Civil War as well, but Muhammar Gaddafi managed to hold his position of power thanks to loyalists and military managed to slowly, but steadily reconquer lost Libyan land. In Syria Bashar al-Assad faced similar rebellions and uprising movements, while in Iraq Saddam Hussain used the weakened, crippled state of the United States to start subduing and retaking the Kurdish Autonomy Regions in the northeast of Iraq. This version of Earth was a mess and clearly the agitations of Chinese People’s Republic or the Russian Republic, that conquered Novorussia in Ukraine, ethnic Russian regions in the Baltic and Central Asian neighboring states.
