When QM-1 entered the next reality, they were shocked to see that the War against Anubis and the War on Terror had merged, as Anubis had not died during the battle of Antarctica, but escaped to Earth, where he used Nishta and his technology to subdue forces like Al-Qaida to continue his fight to annihilate the Tau’ri, especially the Americans who had been the main force stopping him. Thanks to him the revenge attack on New York a terrorist act wiped out the whole city as a Naquadah enhanced bomb was used. The Untied States of America were hit hard with the annihilation of this city and Anubis was amused that their Statue of Liberty was gone. Rising the ranks as a local leader of the global terror group, Anubis took upon him the title of Caliph and overthrew many North American and Middle Eastern Monarchies and Republics during the Arab Spring, while his Goa’uld technology or reverse-engineered armored Militia defeated the initial American Invasion into Afghanistan and Iraq alike. With the Caliphate proclaimed, Anubis would start his conquest into Southern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, northern India, Southeast Asia and Central Africa as the Al-Qaeda Caliphate. His attempt was however not to subdue Earth directly with this forces, but to weaken and kill as many as possible in this battles and terrorist naquadah-enhanced suicide attacks on American, European and East Asian major global cities. The goal was to break Tau’ri and then when they were weakened, in anarchy and chaos take the Chaapa’ai (Stargate) to return to his Domain, finish of the System Lords and then return to conquer Earth for good and gain access to the Ancient Outpost and knowledge hidden there. Knowing that it was mst likely Anubis or one of his surviving Goa’uld or Jaffa who was causing this much trouble, as terrorist groups and militia alone would have been not competent enough to gain knowledge and the capabilities on how do use the technology left behind by Anubis shipwreck, the Stargate Command in this reality was working on a new satellite network that had the purpose to send a wave of electric shock pulses trough orbit and Earth Athmospehre to counter the most likely use of masses of Nish’ta that Anubis used alongside brute force to keep the people inside his Caliphate in line.

Doing so would however also have an impact on some electronic-sensitive devices, but with millions enslaved by Anubis on Earth and massive destruction alongside hundred-thousands, yes nearly millions of death the United Nations of this Earth saw no other option then to use such desperate measures and last-resorts in hopes this might stop Anubis forces and allow their elite-forces to locate his host and attempt to kill the half-ascended Goa’uld. They even had tried to negotiate with him before, safe return to a world of his choosing in exchange for his forces laying down their arms, but neither side trusted the other to truly uphold any promises, so that went nowhere. The plan did sadly not work, as Anubis had an alternative form of the mind-control drug that was immune to Zat and other electric impulses, so they had to come up with another plan. With the help of QM-1 however they came up with another plan, as they realized the danger the Quantum Mirror could pose. So when QM-1 left for their own dimension and reality again, the Tau’ri of this Earth offered Anubis technology of the Alliance of the Four Races, the Quantum Mirror itself. Seeing it as a chance to get rid of Anubis they would arrange for a negotiating with Anubis at the neutral, disputed border were they fought him. Anubis realizing it could be a means to get off-world rather easily, accepted inspecting the device. The foolish Tau’ri had given him the control for this Quantum Mirror and while he searched trough the various different dimensions, realities and worlds, he found one under his control that had the Quantum Mirror and stepped trough. What he did not know was that the Tau’ri had expected this and while Anubis had escaped them and their reality, a swift missile strike on the Quantum Mirror still secured by his forces meant he would have no way to return trough it. With him gone they now could focus on bringing down his remaining followers and supporters, find a way to end the brainwashing he had done to them and retake the lands they had conquered on Earth. QM-1 would never knew what had happened, if this realities Earth plan had worked and if they were able to liberate their world once more from Anubis overall influence.
