i dreamt of you last night,
As i often do since you left...
Velvet eyes with golden twinkles.
like two beacons on the coast during a storm
shining through fogged panes..
every spark speaking volumes,
and gives a fleeting glimpse
of the kindred spirit that resides within,
floating just a feather's weight of grasp away....
eyes that flicker whispers of safety and comfort,
a gaze that both claims my heart and swallows my soul....
A gaze now gone except when i see you in my sleep...
My heart aches.
