I'm likely going to keep going with sketches. Our cat, Neko, became really ill this last week and it has occupied most of our thoughts. She stopped eating, drinking and using the litter box and would just lay on the bed, barely moving. On Wednesday, we thought the worst - she was dying and likely would have if not for modern medicine. We cried a lot. We took her to the vet every day, getting IV fluids and a host of tests. It's most likely an extreme UTI that caused all of her bowels and pancreas to become inflamed. So, she's on antibiotics, antinausea meds and painkillers. As of Saturday night, she finally started eating as long as it was wet food we would hand feed her. Sunday morning, she really started perking up and moved around the house on her own, eating and drinking on her own and finally using the litter box again. She's getting back to normal but is still pretty lethargic (even for a cat, haha). Now, she begs for more wet food and is even being a little annoying in the kitchen like she usually does. I don't think we're completely out of the woods but she's much, much better.
