Donatello of TMNT

Along with his brothers, Donatello started out as a small turtle hatchling being affected by mutagen and develop much higher intellect and less strength than the others with the ability to speak rapidly in logical and technological terms which makes it difficult for anyone to understand him. At some point, they were taught in the art of ninja. He is the Turtle that is commonly accepted as the smartest of the group, specifically in matters related to scientific pursuits and technology. In most incarnations, he wears a purple bandana and wields a Bō staff.

Like most of the Donatello incarnations, he is the most passive and slightly witty of the Turtles. While unlike most incarnations, he is a non-violent type by choice, behaves in a more gentlemanly matter instead of acting like an average teenager like his brothers, spending most of his time reading, studying, creating many gadgets with which to solve problems that not even sensei Splinter foresaw or could foresee.
