The Japanese houses in the big city like Tokyo are small. So, when people who live in big Japanese city have dogs, little dogs are convenient more than big dogs.
Duchshund, Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi are the most popular dogs in Japan. ^_^
