You have an excellent sense of action going on with the man on the upper left-hand corner of this piece. I can really get a sense of the muscle contractions and motion as he "moves" in a seemingly rigorous manner. However, and this may be my eyes playing tricks, there seems to be an inconsistency between his left and right leg. It's as if his upper left thigh is longer than the right, though again, this may just be my mistake. On another note, cross-hatching of this sort may be ideal if you use ink instead of pencil (I'm guessing you've only used H or...a light work with 2B?). Inking could really bring out the motions rather than forcing the viewer to look for a particular movement.

On a lovely side-note, I just LOVE the woman at the upper right-hand corner of this sketch page.

I was stunned, simply and utterly stunned. The shading you've used to render her took my breath away. This is a wonderful example of how cross-hatching should be used while working pencils, especially with the amount of detail you placed in her nose. The repetition used proved to be quite effective. If you ever get a chance to work with this style again, than please, PLEASE contact me again. It would be an honor to view through more of these works.

As far as the eye at the bottom is concerned, refer back to my previous comment of the woman.

Also, have you ever considered working with cross-hatching in colours? I believe you can REALLY pull through with this, especially with plenty practice and a little dedication.
