A little idea I had considering Elmer and Crikey's relationship. If you've seen other drawings I made, you'd know Elmer is pretty much Crikey's favorite punching bag. But while I was trying to do more Robot and Monster fanart and try to get back into it, I was kind of wondering...what would they be like if they got along? Or at least tolerated each other. In this, I figured Crikey just didn't feel like beating up Elmer at the moment (even bullies have their days) but didn't want him to run away just in case he gets in the mood so he'd be carrying around Elmer all day to save him as a punching bag for later, but to everyone else it looks like they've become buddies or something.
I just wanted an excuse to draw bully characters being cute with their favorite victim, I guess.

Elmer: W-Well, lets see...I'm not exactly an expert on romance, but just staying polite and keeping your cool around women is a good start. I r-realize you have a few anger issues...not that I'm trying to insult you! I just think a little more self-control will make a difference.

Elmer: Well, you...uh..hmm. (thinks for a minute but then smiles) Y-You'd be a great bodyguard or protector for your loved ones! Girls do like guys that would stand up for them and keep them safe. Even I would like a girl like that!

Elmer: (sighs and crosses his arms) Well, it is if you're gonna have that attitude! You can't expect to catch a nice girl's attention if you're always so cynical. You gotta have hope.

Elmer: (gets shy and sits down) S-Sorry for yelling, I just don't like seeing my friends being down on themselves..

Crikey: I should say so! Whoo! (he's still surprised at how Elmer snapped at him)
