The acid's a nice touch, where you perhaps inspired by this one bird - I can't remember it's name - which 'spits' at enemies as a fledgling, and that's it's defense when the parent are gone.
Well, by 'spit' I mean it throws up on the enemy, kinda gross, but effective.
