"Perfect Cell" Commission

I was VERY happy to get this commission, as Cell is probably my favorite DBZ character, so I had no trouble figuring out how to go about this one!

I was going to go all out and add all these cyborg-like flourishes all over him, like mechanical eyes/jaw piece, circuits running through his skin etc.... but I decided to keep it more simple and true to his actual look in the anime and stick with a more human face. But at the same time, he ain't really human, so I had to be careful with adding too much detail and flaws on his face, and think about different textures and materials that piece him together.

Ahh, good times

Photoshop CS5
15+ hours.
Airbrush + Texture brushes.
Dodge/Burn and Sharpen/Blur for finishing touches!
