The day started off with you two just sitting on the couch, watching old Disney movies. He had never seen them before, so all of his attention was focused on the screen.Although, you found that pretty cute.After a few hours, he was still wide awake but you felt your eye lids getting heavier.And heavier.And heavier.Until there was nothing else but darkness.

You woke up, a little groggy.Your hair was a mess and your body was cramping from the uncomfortable position you had slept in.Your opened and you quickly shot up into a sitting position on the couch.To your surprise, Jack was still there.But the TV was off and he was just looking at you.

"How long was I asleep?" you asked, a bit embarrassed.

"For a while." he replied, quietly.

You turned your head towards the kitchen microwave and the time wrote 12:45 PM. Okay so, it wasn't that late, but you still felt really bad about falling asleep during the movies.

"I'm so sorry for falling asleep on you, I don't know what happened back there."

You were cursing at yourself a thousand times in your head.

Why do these things happen to me?

He chuckled and shook his hair.He didn't seemed annoyed at all.Boy,did that relieve you.

"It's no big, I didn't even realize you had fallen asleep.And besides, watching you sleep is quite fascinating." he said while stretching.

"Oh that's good to hear-" you suddenly felt a small bit of laughter escape from your mouth.

"You watch me sleep?"

He stopped stretching and his cheeks turned instantly red.

"Did I say- wait no I meant...not watching you but...j-just, you know-" he stuttered.

Busted

You simply chuckled again and leaned over to grab his hand with both hands.He stopped talking instantly and stared.

"I'm going to go get something to eat.Any requests?" you jokingly said, trying to make him calm down about the sleeping incident.

"I'm immortal, I don't actually need food.But thanks anyways,(your name)." he finally succeeded on saying.

You gave him one last smile and got up towards the kitchen.You were preparing a sandwich and poured yourself some 7-Up.As you re-entered the living room, Jack was still lounging on the couch, humming an unfamiliar tune.You sat beside him and took a bite of your lunch.

"What were you singing?" you said after chewing your first bite.

"Just a song I remember from a long time ago.I can't really remember but one day I was sitting in a tree watching the snow fall, and I saw this woman with her boy walking beneath me.They sat on a bench not too far away.Her son rested his head on her shoulder and she started humming a song.I had never heard it before but I was close enough to remember part of it.After a while they both left and never came back, but I never forgot that song.And sometimes I catch myself singing it, like I was doing a few moments ago." he looked down, a bit nostalgic.

You looked down at his hands.You had never really payed close attention to them before but they looked strong yet fragile.Pale as clouds. You shook your head, pushing away those weird unfamiliar feelings.

"That's a beautiful story." you finally admitted, after a long moment of silence between the both of you.

You felt his eyes observing you, but didn't look up to meet them.You got up,grabbed your unfinished lunch and headed once again for the kitchen to clean your dishes.

Get a hold of yourself.This will not happen again.You hear me? It happened once, it ends here.

You hadn't noticed Jack hover towards your mother's old radio and flick it on.Music blasted throughout it's speakers.You jumped wildly and nearly dropped your plate.

Jack was just laughing his head off.

"Sorry,sorry! I didn't think it wold be that loud." he continued to search through the stations.

You sighed and put your hand on your heart.It was beating extremely fast.

Finally, Jack found a suitable station on the radio.Until you noticed a slow song was playing.You stored your plate and turned to him.He was staring at the radio,smiling and turned to you.You tilted your head, not understanding his message.

He stretched out his hand in your direction and bowed.

"Would the lady care for a dance?"

Your eyes nearly popped out of your orbits and you quickly shook your head.

"No.No no no no no-" you repeatedly said."I-I don't dance...I can't dance."

He was still smiling.

"So? I can show you! C'mon, please? Just one dance?" he was doing those enormous puppy dog eyes.And he was a master at it.

You rolled your eyes, and sighed.

"Fine.Just one dance."

A wide grin spread across his flawless face.He grabbed your hand and twirled you towards him.He guided your two hands around his neck and rested his hands right above your waist.

"OK so first make your left foot step first, then it's your right foot, and so on.Got it, so far?" he was staring deeply into you eyes now, and you tried to look away to hide your blushing cheeks.

You nodded slightly and turned to face him.He nodded as well and made the first step.Then you made it.Then it was his turn again.And so on.

This was your first dance with a guy, and you were extremely nervous.Your biggest fear so far was to step on his feet.To make things worse, he was barefoot! You felt your face burning.

You weren't sure what song was playing, but it was melodious and soft. After a while of learning how to slow dance with Jack, you finally got the hang of it.And when you felt confident enough, you even smiled.

Jack was looking at you having fun but remained silent.As he made you spin, a chuckle escaped your lips.Then he pulled you closer to him and and you felt his hands slowly move down to your waist.

The song finally ended, but Jack didn't officially let go.He just stayed there, still holding onto you.Your foreheads were now touching and you could feel his cold breathe on your lips.His hands crawled up to your cheeks and he held your face in them.Hypnotized by the cool feeling, you closed your eyes.

You then felt his lips make contact with yours.
