Stirling keeps insisting that D.D's feathers are his own - they look like his, they smell like his, he even has a few missing! Yet the small dove keeps arguing that they are clearly her own, the hue matches her grey coat so perfectly how could they not be? Boris isn't so certain of the common's claims but she keeps an eye on Stirling anyway, in case his temper flares any hotter. Feathers can grow back but you can't un-eat a kukuri.---------
