- Full Metal has two animes: "FullMetal Alchemist" and "FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood". Watch the second, FMA Brotherhood. Is the newest, best, and that faithfully follows the manga. Are 64 episodes.
It has comedy, Amazing action, captivating characters and story, very much story, one of the best I've seen in animes! (I cried in several parts hehe). Is based on the laws of nature, science and chemistry.

- Sword Art Online is more romance. Are 26 episodes but will back to release more.
The story is in the future, and they get trapped inside an RPG game and for get out need finish the game - if die in the game, die in real life.

- Fairy Tail is comedy, action, adventure, story etc. Happens in a world of magic, and there are guilds of wizards, some enemies. And one of these guilds is called "Fairy Tail". Based in One Piece.
Has 276 episodes, the manga 381 chapters (for now) and continues releasing, is far from over. If arrive until the third season you will not want to stop watching.
