Ledaal Zyden never really thought he'd catch up with the Anathema who changed his life. But when he found out the eight-year old girl he'd been protecting was the creature's daughter, that he'd been shaping the Wyld back to Creation, and that Sikunare was hunting him across the West, he started to feel like he might need to.
And when he saved the Anathema from Sikunare's clutches, and the first thing it did was apologize, he began to think that perhaps, he could start calling the creature a man after all.

He and Care's Wreath have come a long way from the enemies they started as. (Since this picture, the Anathema has become a full member of the crew, and is officially one of Zyden's nakama. )
