his race is called Remora. they roam the planet of neocria, looking at other living organisms and assimilating their shape. they’re one of the few quadrupeds who have been given the gift of intelligence, and have created a tremendous civilization.

the problem with them is, being a quadruped proves being a problem when handling some things, like writing. they like being an anthropomorphic creature so much, that so many of them have forgotten how their own real form looks like, so their race is slowly dissappearing… or… evolving… into other organisms.

Remoras shapeshifting system is a miracle: they’re not even organic. they’re actually made from a crystal called Artritium, a very hard and valuable gem that when exposed to to certain waves [thoughts] it can change it’s shape, texture and color. the gem can only be obtained when a Remora dies and is used as jewelry, energy source and is on scientific research to discover even more uses to this particular crystal.

remoras digestive system can literally assimilate anything into them. remoras can also control it, allowing them to keep objects inside of them without worrying about destroying them. their diet consists mainly on meat and fruits, but vegetables and any other kind of food is also included in it. their favorite food is man made, bakery and sweets are dishes that they adore.

remoras come in any color, however, their birth color cannot be changed. this means if they turn into, say, a dog, they’ll keep their colors and markings despite their shape. the exception of this case comes to those who are extremely experienced with their shapeshifting capabilities.

remoras are pacific unless provoked, and when that happens, the best advice is to apologize, or run for your life. they dont care what animal they eat after all!!

the "scars" on their neck are actually venticular holes connected to their lungs. you can even peek inside without harming the beast!!!
