Yes, Quicksilver’s magic had the shape of King’s Magic. The way it twisted and coiled in his body spoke of something he’d used for years. It wore into his system like the banks of an ancient river. Something borrowed and dearly loved. But the Caelum that gifted it? Nothing was left of them except a gossamer thread wrapped around the core of Quicksilver’s new magic like rosary beads in the hands of the faithful. Quicksilver knew a Caelum, was a part of a Caelum’s closest retinue, and that Caelum was gone. Not much haunted Cor, but that did.

SO this one is obviously a bit…conceptual? I dunno man I just really loved this visual of magic leaving ‘scars’ and yet there’s still this glimmering thread of devotion in the midst of new magic
So a circulatory system of magic in charcoal and a core in colored pencils cause god forbid I make anything easy on myself.
