Either you had another scene in mind, or Kat's dead and so is Garen's heart. His eyes give him a haggard and tired appearance; his eyes are even bleak and empty. I don't think that he can be consoled by anyone, not even his sister.
Unless of course you had another image in mind, but I really can't tell.

I saw the W.I.P. on Tumblr and liked it so much xD I though you were to post it another day, because, well, today is a day when people is a lot of busy and all that... and suddenly I enter DA and see this... OMG xD
I love how Garen looks~♥ The worrying stare, the clothes (dat skin... although I liked that skin more before the rework xD), pose, and an angst atmosphere I feel when seeing the scene (I don´t know if it was your intention or it´s just my feelings but I like it haha)... And I agree, he´s SO knight >_< I wonder what happened to Kat because Garen is carrying her D:
