Awesome! He looks super slick and incredibly alien. The exo-ribs and frond-like feathers with a splash of iridescent gold streaks are such creative combinations.

I think it depends on the application. The lack of shading on this one I think it was good to use thinner lines. It adds more detail since u lack your normal shading. I love your normal style though. You have away of making your art look like markers especially with the bolder colors. With much of your work despite the bold color your work usually has that softness of marker to it. It really depends on the application. With out the focus being on the face and the lack of shading I like the thinner lines. It gives it detail.
