Clementine leaves Annette and once again traverses through the dark and murky sewers, where she finds Leon perched against a wall - alive and wounded.

Clementine: *Upon seeing Leon* "Leon!" *Runs up to him* "You're alright!"

Leon: *Faintly groaning and pressing on his wound. He looks up and sees Clementine* "Cl-Clementine.... W-What happened.... to Annette?"

Clementine: "She.... let me go and then disappeared. What happened to your uniform? Did Ada patch you up?"

Leon: "I guess so." *Cough, cough* "Speaking of which, where is she?"

Clementine: "I honestly have no idea. But there's something I need to tell you about her, Leon."

Leon: "What is it?"

Clementine: "She's not an FBI agent."

Leon: "What? What are you talking about?"

Clementine: "She's a mercenary, Leon. She's only here for the virus so she can sell it."

Leon: "Come on, Clem. You really expect me to believe that?"

Clementine: "I'm serious, Leon! She's been lying to you AND is using you!"

Leon: "Bullshit! If that was so, she wouldn't have helped me! I would've bled to death right here at this very spot! We need to find her, wherever she went."

Clementine: "But, Leon-

Leon: "Clem! ENOUGH!" *Slowly stands up while slightly groaning in pain* "Now I know you don't really like her, but that doesn't give you any right to be making false accusations on her! We need to find her and the Umbrella lab. I spotted a cable car on the way here. Maybe we can take that...."

Clementine: *Hangs her head and sighs in sadness*
