Incidentally, I'm actually replaying the first game right now, and while I love the second, it's just...huh. I dunno. The first will always have this place in my heart - It's like it knocks me back to being nine and just hearing about the games for the first time, thinking it was such a cool idea and wanting to play them (which I finally managed...seven years later xD). And this kind of gives me the same feeling. Happy nostalgia, you know?

Ah replaying the first game. Such love. I cannot tell you how many times I have played that damn game. And I'm glad it has a place in your heart. It seems to escape others. This is why I cosplay as KH1 Sora. I just... cannot connect with KH2 Sora. It's harder for me because the first game is just so much more real to me.
I am happy to be spreading the happy nostalgia ya know?

I totally get that. And while I love the second game, it's nice to go back to when it was just Sora, Riku, and Kairi as the trio. Back to the island, and them just trying to find each other, when everything was simpler and things weren't so goddamn confusing xD
